Great color choices. Worked with my schedule. Friendly sales and installation staff. I’m a retired engineer so I know the 2-day installation process is better to allow curing of the base coat. Great follow-up after installation. My garage floor looks wonderful…and my neighbors like it, too.

Absolutely fabulous service! Kelly was amazing from helping us select what to do in the basement. We had our garage floor done in the gun metal which is beautiful, then we had a natural clear coat on the basement floor. It brought out all the natural colors in the concrete and is just beautiful! Thanks Kelly for all your help along the way. The guys did an amazing job as well, they were careful coming in the home and cleaned up afterwards. Great job and for sure worth the investment!

I can't say enough good things about Garage Floor Coating - The Great Lakes! I originally had my garage floor installed in 2017, and after getting quotes from several different companies, I chose Great Lakes—even though they weren't the cheapest. Their attention to detail, decades of experience, and outstanding warranty gave me the confidence that I was making the right investment.

If you're considering a garage floor coating, I highly recommend purchasing the warranty because, with Great Lakes, the warranty actually means something. They've been in business for years, and they stand behind their work long after the installation is complete.

Recently, I had a minor issue with my floor, and their team responded quickly, came out, and took care of everything without any hassle. That's the kind of customer service that's hard to find today.

Nearly a decade after the original installation, my garage floor still looks spectacular and continues to receive compliments from friends and neighbors. The quality of their workmanship is second to none, and it's clear they take pride in every project they complete. They just do it better than anyone else. I would recommend Garage Floor Coating - The Great Lakes to anyone looking for a beautiful, durable garage floor backed by a company that truly stands behind its products and its customers.

Had epoxy applied to the screened porch floor. The floor looks great, but they did not apply plastic to screens and tracks and loose epoxy filled those tight areas which I then had to clean. It was extremely challenging. I am sure they would have returned had I asked them to, but I had already lost faith & did it myself. I am very meticulous and there is even epoxy on some of the vinyl framing. I take some responsibility because I should have asked why I didn’t get the plastic and my neighbor did. But they are the pros! Be forewarned….do the plastic! The price was very fair if the ‘clean up’ had been more detailed.

The gentleman that worked on my garage floor did a great job. They were able to take out my stairs so the whole floor had an even coating. Did not take as long as I thought. It was definitely worth it, my floor makes the garage look brand new.

I had a very good experience with this company. Matthew who represented grudge floors was very conscientious and courteous. He did a very nice job of rebuilding my floor. The company has been very good as far as follow-up is concerned and taking care of any issues that you may have. The lifetime guarantee is great. I am glad I went with his company in the first place

We had three contractors quote this job for a 3-car garage removing 20+ year old Rust-oleum Epoxy and putting down a Silver Grey / Stone Rowe / Natural Grit Epoxy/Polyaspartic coating. By far, Kelly was the most professional, knew the product details, gave suggestions, was price competitive, and answered all of my questions with details. Their site in Sylvania is clean and professional and a suggested visit. The crew (Victor & Matt) were very professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. Installation was the 2-Day process described and by the 4th day the floor was operational. Our garage is once again presentable, and we're thrilled with the results.
Thank you Garage Floor Coatings - The Great Lakes :)
We strongly recommend them for your applications.

It is rare for me to do a review or rating for a company that we ultimately did not choose as our contractor, but in this case it is well deserved. Garage Floor Coating uses a epoxy base under their polyspartic floor, which is an outstanding option for many people. In our case since polyuria is a better option for our particular garage we ended up going with another company. However I want to do this review because Kelly the owner was so outstanding in her presentation. She came out to our home, presented all options, was thoroughly knowledgeable about the process, presented everything in an informative but no-pressure format, and presented a reasonable quote as well. If epoxy is the best base for your particular garage I would not hesitate to recommend Kelly and her company.

Just had our garage floor done this week. Chris our salesman did a great job explaining the process, our job took 3 days due to needing to repair the cracking and pitting in our floor, but the results are really fantastic.

The price was also reasonable, saving quite a bit of money from another quote we received. Couldn't be happier going with this company.

The epoxy floor process was done efficiently, and the team was very professional. I was happy that the work could be completed for my three car garage in one and a half days. The crew cleaned up dusty materials when the job was complete. We were appreciative of them providing a storage trailer for us to store our garage items while the floor cured. We are very happy with the company and the product. The product and service is not inexpensive but we felt that this company provided a higher quality installation than others that we interviewed.

Recently a small problem parented itself and I called GFC to ask it be repaired
Their attitude was amazingly helpful and they assured me it would be taken care of
This week their service technician repaired it
The technician was professional, and took special care to communicate with me regarding schedule, process, and suggestions for improvements to-my maintenance practices which will protect the floor and enhance its appearance
I strongly recommend this firm to anyone.

We are so pleased with our new garage floor! Our home was built in 1967. We bought it in 1984. We park two vehicles, two bicycles, and two kayaks in our 2-car garage. After raising seven children with lots of bikes and outdoor toys, it was time to address 40 years of deferred maintenance as empty nesters. GFCGL did such a great job repairing our floor and installing such a beautiful full flake coating with sparkling mica metallic chips! They also repaired our ailing walls, painted, and installed slatwall and cabinetry. It was fun working with Kelley and Taylor to customize for a designer look. The garage could now double as a casual party space, with our first family event planned soon. One caveat: leave yourself plenty of margin if you have a deadline, as there were delays along the way, but in the end they were worth it. The installers were all polite, topnotch professionals. Below is the review that I provided when Great Lakes did our garage 3 years ago. The floor has held up perfectly!! I just washed it today, and it still looks like new. Last week we had them do our back patio (before /after pictures attached). Mike, Michael, Mathew and Victor were the team from Great Lakes that did the work. Again, they exceeded my expectations. It looks like a new patio … we love it!! These guys are fantastic.

The Great Lakes Garage Floor Coating did an amazing job with our garage. I am very particular about home improvement projects, and they exceeded my expectations. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and nice to deal with. The garage floor looks absolutely AMAZING. If you want to finish your garage floor, there is no need to call anyone else.

Superb company and job well done! We had our 20 year old garage floor completed by them and it's going on 2 years without a problem. I had concerns in the beginning but they proved me wrong. It's very rare today to find a company/people that care and will do what they say they will do. They work very hard to earn your business from beginning to finish. My wife and I thank you.

I absolutley love my garage floor and the family owned business is wonderful to work with. They communicated with me each step, scheduling was easy, Kelly brought samples which was super helpful because I picked a totally different option I would have if there wasn't sample options available to view in person. Very affordable and the qoute was done the same day. Not only was Kelly and Steve just wonderful people to work with but the finished product is fantastic. Super happy and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their garage floor. 😄👍

I had to have my basement floor done in a very specific time frame…. It was a surprise for my husband. You see, he did not want any of his things in his man cave moved, but I got tired of looking at not only his mess in his shop area but more specifically the floor.
Well true to character and form, Kelly made it all happen! She thought it was hysterical that I wanted to complete this project while my husband was gone all week to training in Dallas, which I might add he never ever leaves for that long…
Plus, just getting the measurements was a complete feat. He practically lives in his man cave. I had to strike when I could having Great Lakes come in! Kelly was patient and kind and made it happen!
Now for Dennis, the “floor guy”!
I cannot say enough nice things about him and the work he did!
I showed him the other side of our basement which Kelly’s company did a few years ago. He immediately knew what he had to do!
Dennis not only did a great job, but he is professional, kind and considerate!
He was not messy and took great care and pride in his work!
I highly recommend this Great Lakes!
They even fixed our garage floor that was done from another company a few years earlier. Without hesitation if my Mom ever decides to do her floor, Kelly and her crew will be getting my phone call!
Thank you all!
Deb

Extremely happy with our new pole barn floor. It made our space brighter as well as easy to clean up spills when working on our vehicles. The install went smooth, they arrived when they said they would, ready to work. Sean was very knowledgeable with the product when we were deciding between this and another product. I would highly recommend this company.

Garage Floor Coating is the best! I liked the fact that the job was done over three days - allowing proper time to cure and set. I purposely stayed away from companies that advertised epoxy in one day, since it just doesn't physically make sense to have all the steps done in one day. I've seen enough bad epoxy peeling to know it's worth the wait.

The staff is truly professional and knowledgeable of their craft. Matthew came to do the job and you can see the passion in his work. He was hard working, enthusiastic and informative every step of the way. Kate, interior designer, in the office answered all my questions and spent a lot of time with me in their beautiful showroom going over color samples. She even helped me choose a paint color for the walls to coordinate with my new floor.

Thanks Garage Floor Coating!

We are extremely happy with our new garage floor!! This company is awesome - very accommodating, friendly, and go above and beyond to please the customer. Kelly was great to work with and Michael & Matthew did an excellent job with the install. Very professional, knowledgeable, took the time to explain things to us throughout the week - I really could go on and on. Can’t wait to enjoy this amazing floor for years to come!

Kelly did and excellent job presenting the different options and colors of flooring for our garage without trying to persuade us on color or price. They provided an enclosed trailer to store our belongings while the garage floor was being coated and the installers were polite, helpful when questioned and stayed on schedule. I would recommend The Great Lakes Garage Floor Coating for your garage floor coating.

When we bought this house 19 years ago, the garage floor was already in rough shape. Over time, it only got worse. I was sure a floor replacement would be required before Garage Floor Coating – Great Lakes could do their magic. They assured me that they have dealt with floors worse than mine. I am completely satisfied with the finished product! The proof is in the pictures.
